PROF. GIOVANNI FACCHINI
I am a Professor of Economics at the University of Nottingham. My research has focused on three main themes: international trade, international migration and and more recently on the economics of race and gender. I currently serve as the Director of the Nottingham Centre for Globalization and Economic Policy (GEP), and I am also a Fellow of the Academy of Social Sciences and a Research Fellow of CEPR, CES-Ifo, CReAM and IZA. I obtained a PhD in Economics from Stanford University in 2001, and a Laurea in Economics from the University of Trento in 1994.
